“The coming of spring” is an original handmade linocut print featuring a nude woman emerging from the winter’s darkness into the gentle warmth of a sleepy sun. The image is created by hand-carving a design into a linoleum block, then applying oil-based inks and printing with an etching press onto heavyweight 280 gsm archival printmaking paper. Composed of 60% cotton and acid-free, the paper ensures long-term preservation.
This traditional linocut technique produces subtle, intentional “chatter” marks on the print. Each piece is signed, unframed, made to order, and shipped in eco-friendly packaging, with ink requiring several days to dry fully.
