“Mr. Fancypants” is a limited edition reduction linocut print featuring a sunflower design inspired by 1960s illustration. Only eleven prints are available, each created using a hand-carved linoleum block. The process involves carving the design into block, applying oil-based inks, and printing with an etching press. The reduction linocut technique uses successive colour layers from the same block, removing more lino with each layer. Printed on 280 gsm heavyweight, 60% cotton, acid-free archival paper, this print offers exceptional longevity. The traditional linocut method imparts subtle, intentional texture marks on the paper. The print is signed, unframed, and shipped in eco-friendly packaging.
