“The crying Giant” is a handmade linocut print portraying a nude giant shaping existence and the natural world. Drawing inspiration from the interplay of Mother Nature and divine forces, the artwork symbolises the giant as the origin of all rivers. As he forms the land, his overwhelming emotions transform into tears that flow as rivers and oceans.
This hand-relieved linocut print is created using a carved linoleum block and oil-based inks, pressed onto heavyweight 280 gsm archival paper made of 60% cotton. The traditional process leaves unique marks that add character. Each print is signed, unframed, and shipped in eco-friendly packaging.
